First up—referrals are live!
Tell your friends about Nova and you’ll both get rewarded: they get a free month, and so do you. Head to the new Settings section in the Nova web app to find your workspace’s unique promo code. When someone signs up using your code, you’ll automatically get credited with a free month.

🏃‍♀️ Login, Signup - Now easier with Google and Apple logins

Getting started with Nova is now even easier—especially for Google Workspace and Apple iCloud users. Just click Continue or Sign In at the top of the page to jump right in—no extra steps needed. And yes, this works perfectly with your promo code, so you and your teammates can start using Nova (and earning free months) in seconds.

🤝 Noah, the Team Growth Coordinator, gets smarter

One of the areas in Nova where the agents were somewhat “less than useful” was our Team Growth Specialist. Noah, your recruiting-focused agent, really needed an ATS to be helpful—like prepping for interviews or listing open roles. But thanks to some excellent customer feedback, we’ve given Noah a serious upgrade. He’s now much more helpful, with or without an ATS connected.

First up—Noah can now help you craft job descriptions from scratch.
Just ask Nova to create a new JD, and Noah will guide you through designing a clear, compelling role that attracts the right candidates. Once you're happy with it, you can download it as a Word doc, PDF, or plain text—whatever works best for you.

And what better way to use that job description than to help sort through all the applicants it brings in? Noah can help you review resumes, highlight top candidates, and make the hiring process way less painful.

To get started, you can just ask Nova to match resumes to a job description.
Noah will jump in and ask for the job listing file (like the one you just created), the resumes you’d like help reviewing, and any extra criteria—beyond basic matches like experience, location, or keywords. Once you’re ready, Noah will return a list of candidates that align with your criteria—along with a quick explanation of why they matched (or didn’t). You can even ask why a specific candidate didn’t make the cut.

Just to be clear—Nova isn’t ranking your candidates. It’s simply helping you match resumes to the job description so you can focus on the final decision.

🚢 Ship those Policies

While you may not need to write new policies every day, when you do—it’s a pain.
Now, Omar can step in to help. Just tell Nova you need a new policy, and Omar will walk you through drafting it, refining it, and getting it just right—without the usual hassle.

It’s especially handy when you need a one-off policy for something that just came up.
We’ve pre-loaded Nova with dozens of real, battle-tested examples to help you get started faster. Give it a try—and stay tuned for an upcoming release that will make updating existing policies just as easy.

⚙️ Small Improvements

• You can delete a conversation—great for cleanup or tests, but remember that when you delete it, it’s gone for good!

• On signup in Slack—allow user to select among existing workspaces, even if not an Impact workspace—great for adding Slack to your existing Nova account!

• Show icon indicating that a conversation originated in Slack

• Design the verification and password reset emails

• Add slash command to give admin user the option to connect to an existing workspace

  • From within Slack, now just type: /nova-connect-workspace and you can easily switch between workspaces. This is huge for consultants working with multiple customers!

• Sometimes scheduled jobs don't execute (along with general platform stability) because of Connection Reset

• Survey analysis can sometimes hallucinate locations
